0.1 Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter
The Promoter is: Jackbooom Ltd, Company Registration Number 16905680 and whose registered office is at Flat 34 Galleons View, 1 Stewart Street, London, E14 3EX, England, United Kingdom.

2. Competition
These terms and conditions ("T&Cs") apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter's website at jackbooom.com ("Website"), including standard competitions ("Standard Competitions") and online "instant win" competitions ("Instant Win Competitions") and will apply to all dealings between the Promoter and you. Together, Standard Competitions and Instant Win Competitions will be referred to as "Competitions" in these Terms and Conditions and references to a "Competition" will refer to either a Standard Competition or an Instant Win Competition.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any Site listing, advertisement or other materials used in the promotion of a Contest by the Organizer, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
For a chance to win, all Contest entrants (an "Entrant") will be required to correctly answer a question or solve a problem set by the Organizer ("Contest Question").
All Competitions include a Competition Question and an entry fee is payable each time you enter a Competition. If the Organizer offers an easy or multiple choice question, a free entry route is available.
3. How to enter
Competitions will run from and including the opening and closing dates specified on the Website. These dates will be referred to as the "Opening Date" and "Closing Date" respectively. All times and dates referred to are London, England times and dates.
If absolutely necessary, the Organizer reserves the right to change the Opening and Closing Dates. If the Organizer changes the opening date and/or closing date of a competition, the new details will be posted on the website.
All competition entries must be received by the Organizer no later than the time specified on the Closing Date. Subject to clause 3.12.6 below, all competition entries received after the time specified on the Closing Date are automatically disqualified and no refunds will be given.
The maximum number of entries for a Competition will be stated on the Website. The number of entries you can make may be limited if the maximum number of entries is reached.
Entries, including free entries, are limited per person per Competition. The maximum number of entries allowed per Entrant for a Competition will be listed on the relevant Competition webpage on the Website. No additional entries will be permitted if the maximum number of entries for the Competition is reached.
To enter a Standard Competition using the paid entry route:
go to the Website and view the Standard Competition you wish to enter; then
enter the answer to the competition question; then
select the required number of entries and proceed to checkout; then
login or register if you are not already logged in; then
accept the Terms and Conditions and complete your purchase.
To enter an instant win contest using the paid entry method:
Go to the Website and view the Instant Win contest you wish to enter; then
select the required number of entries and proceed to checkout; then
login or register if you are not already logged in; then
accept the Terms and Conditions and complete your purchase.
Use of PayPal is restricted to persons over 18 years of age. Please see the PayPal Terms and Conditions that apply to your use of PayPal.
If you purchase a Competition entry online, the Organizer will send you a confirmation that your entry has been received.
The Organizer assumes no responsibility for Contest Entries that are not successfully completed, are lost or are delayed for any reason whatsoever, including, for example, as a result of any equipment malfunction, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, hardware or software failure of any kind.
By purchasing entries and/or submitting an entry to the Competition (whether purchased online or submitted as a free entry), you confirm that you are eligible to participate in the Competition; acknowledge that you are entering into a contract with the Organizer; and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
You may enter a Competition (whether a Standard Competition or an Instant Win Competition) free of charge subject to the following conditions:
Send your entry by prepaid first or second class post to the Organizer at Flat 34 Galleons View, 1 Stewart Street, London, E14 3EX, England, United Kingdom.
Entries delivered in person will not be accepted and will not be included in the prize draw;
include the following information with your entry:
details of the competition you wish to enter;
your full name;
your date of birth;
your postal address;
a contact telephone number and e-mail address; and
your answer to any questions in the competition.
Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;
You may make multiple free entries for any Competition, up to the limit imposed by the Promoter (the maximum number of entries allowed per Entrant for a Competition will be listed on the relevant Competition webpage on the Website). However, each Free Entry must be submitted and mailed to the Promoter separately. Entries submitted in bulk in a single envelope or on a single postcard will not be accepted as multiple entries, and if a bulk entry is received, it will be considered a single entry;
Your entry to a Competition must be received by the Organizer prior to the Closing Date and prior to the allocation of all tickets in a Competition. Free Entries received within 48 hours of the Closing Date for a Contest in which not all tickets have been sold/allocated will not be entered in the selected Contest, but the Entrant will be offered a credit to his/her account on the Website equal to the same number of entries through the paid entry route for the corresponding Contest. Free Entries that are received after the Closing Date will not be credited to his or her account on the Site. Proof of submission does not guarantee that you will be entered into the random drawing and will not be accepted as proof of receipt;
If the number of entries received reaches any limit or cap prior to receipt of the free entry, you will not be entered into the Sweepstakes or any other Sweepstakes and you will not be given any credit to your account on the Site.
If a Contest is priced at less than postage, multiple entries will be awarded for each mail-in entry, up to the amount of second class postage. Example:
49P Competitions - 1 mail entry = 2 competition entries
29P Competitions - 1 postal entry = 3 competition entries
9P Competitions - 1 entry by post = 10 competition entries
Entrants must have created an account on the website/app for a free entry to be processed, all details must match the account details.
4. Choosing a winner
For the Standard Competitions, all Entrants who correctly answer the Competition Question will be placed into a random draw and one Entrant will be chosen by random draw to be eligible to receive the Prize. The random draw will take place as soon as possible and in any event within 7 days of the Closing Date ("Draw Date").
All Entrants in the Standard Competition will have their names and entry numbers included in a spreadsheet which may be published on the Website and may be visible during the live draw. If you do not wish your name to be included in this spreadsheet, you must contact the Organizer by email at jackbooom@jackbooom.com as soon as possible after you have completed your entry and in any event at least 48 hours before the live draw.
For Instant Win Contests, prizes are randomly allocated to numbers in a spreadsheet. Each Instant Win Contest entry that correctly answers the Contest Question then receives a randomly assigned number in that spreadsheet. If the number matches a prize, then the Entrant wins that prize.
Entrants who participate through both the paid entry and free entry path will be notified if they have won (and, if they have won, what prize they have won) after submitting their entry by visiting the relevant Instant Win Contest webpage;
Entrants who participate through both the paid and free entry path will also be notified if they are a winner via an automated email sent to the contact email address provided by the Entrant with the entry. The email will be sent automatically as soon as the Participant's number is identified as the prize winner. Unsuccessful Participants will be notified by e-mail.
Participants who are eligible to win a Prize as set forth in Sections 4.1 and 4.3 above will be referred to individually as the "Winner" and collectively as the "Winners".

5. Credit Site
Site Credits may be awarded in the form of gifts or prizes in certain competitions.
Certain contest prizes may be exchanged for Site Credits if specified on the contest webpage.
You may be awarded Site Credit if you return photos and testimonials from winning a Contest in accordance with the Organizer's criteria provided at the time.
See our social media campaigns for other ways in which Site Credit may be awarded.
Site Credits must be used within 12 months from the date they are credited to your Site Account. Users will receive a reminder at 1 month and then again on the expiration date. After that, Site Credits will expire and cannot be used as a discount for contest entries.
You can view the current balance of your Site Credit account by logging in to your Site Credit account.
Site Credits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or real money.
6. Eligibility
The Contest is open to all residents 18 years of age or older except:
Employees of the Promoter;
employees of the Promoter's agents or suppliers who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or
members of the families or immediate households referred to in 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 above.
By entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide evidence that you are eligible to enter the Competition and claim the prize. If you fail to provide the Organizer with such proof or other information as the Organizer may request within a reasonable time, you may be disqualified from the Contest.
The Organizer will not accept Contest entries that:
automatically computer generated; or
incomplete.
The Organizer reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intent of the Competition. This includes if you are rude or abusive to the Organizer or anyone associated with the Organizer.
Subject to clause 12.3 below, no refund of the entry fee will be given under any circumstances including:
if, following your entry into the Competition, you subsequently learn that you are not eligible to enter the Competition or claim the Prize;
if, following your entry in the Contest, your eligibility criteria for participation in the Contest or claiming the Prize changes and you are no longer eligible; or
if you are disqualified from the Competition by the Organizer for any reason.
If the Entrant engages in:
Any form of fraud (actual or apparent);
fraudulent misrepresentation;
fraudulent concealment;
hacking or interference with the proper functioning of the Website; or
unauthorized modification or use of any of the code constituting the Website,
all their entries will be declared void, no refunds will be given and they may be barred from participating in any future Competitions.
7. Prize
The Prize for each Competition is described on the Website ("Prize"). The details of the Prize are to the best of the Organizer's knowledge, information and belief, correct as at the Opening Date.
Prizes are subject to availability. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any Prize with a Prize of equal or greater value. If any Prize details change, the Organizer will use its best efforts to update the Website as soon as possible. For Instant Win Competitions, the Prizes stated on the Website are those available to be won. There is no guarantee that all of these Prizes will be won, and whether and how many Prizes will be won will depend on the number of entries to the Competition.
The Organizer takes reasonable steps to award the Prize as described on the Website. The Organizer makes no other representations or warranties with respect to the Prize, its value, its condition or any other information provided on the Website. The Organizer makes no representations or warranties that the information provided on the Website is accurate, complete or up-to-date.
There is no cash alternative for the Prize unless stated in the Prize, however, the Organizer may (in its sole discretion) offer one if the Winner prefers to receive cash in lieu of the Prize.
The Prize is not refundable, negotiable or transferable.
If the Prize is a vehicle:
The Promoter will ensure, unless otherwise specified, that the vehicle is fitted with a valid MOT (if required);
The Prize does not include any insurance and it is the Winner's responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is adequately insured before driving it on public roads (if legal to do so);
The Organizer assumes no responsibility for the Prize once it has been delivered. The Winner is solely responsible for compliance with all relevant laws and regulations relating to the vehicle, its operation and for ensuring that it is operated in a safe and responsible manner;
vehicle/road tax is not included;
The Winner is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary licenses, qualifications, knowledge and experience to operate the vehicle safely and legally;
The Winner is solely responsible for ensuring that he/she has all necessary safety equipment and clothing (e.g. helmets, boots and gloves) and for wearing them while driving the vehicle.
If the Prize is a celebration or event:
The Prize description will specify the number of tickets included, class of transportation and type of carrier to the destination. Depending on the type of Prize, the Winner may have date flexibility, e.g. Grand Prize tickets will have a fixed date, while a generic holiday may be flexible. Excluded dates for holiday prizes are as set out on the Website. The Prize does not include travel insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports or train stations, food and drink, pocket money, taxes or personal expenses or any other items not specifically mentioned as being included in the Prize on the Website. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above that are incidental to obtaining the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner(s). Additional cash may be included in the Prize if specifically mentioned on the Website; however, this is the limit of the Promoter's liability.
It shall be your responsibility to ensure that you and any person traveling with you are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents required for the holiday in question on the travel dates specified. Dates, once communicated to the travel agency, cannot be changed.
If the Prize is a holiday or event:
Winner will have the option to choose as their prize:
The property, furnishings and cash supplement, in each case as advertised and described as the Prize on the relevant Contest webpage on the Website; or
A cash prize, as described and described as the Prize on the relevant Competition webpage of the Website.
The property value provided on the Website is an indicative value only. Actual property value may vary depending on market fluctuations and other conditions.
The Promoter will pay any stamp duty, land tax and any legal costs associated with the transfer of title to the Winner. Any other taxes, costs and fees will be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
The Property may be subject to certain rights of access, restrictions and covenants as set forth in the ownership documents.
The Promoter reserves the right at any time to substitute the Prize with a Prize of equal or greater retail value than the property and furnishings described on the relevant Competition webpage on the Website.
The Winner must cooperate with the Promoter in finalizing and registering the transfer of ownership and must agree to use all reasonable endeavors to complete the transfer of ownership within 90 days of selecting the property as a Prize, failing which the terms of clause 8.6 below shall apply.
If the Winner elects for the Prize in cash, the Organizer will pay this amount in cash to the Winner within 14 working days of receipt of the Winner's election and validation of the Winner's bank account details.
8. Winners
The Promoter's decision is final and there will be no correspondence or discussion.
For Standard Competitions, the Promoter will personally contact the Winner as soon as possible after the draw date specified in the Competition list on the Website ("Draw Date"), but no later than 7 days after the Draw Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the Competition entry. If the Winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed the Prize within 14 days of the Draw Date, the Organizer reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected (in the same manner as the initial Winner) from among the correct entries received prior to the Closing Date.
For Instant Win Competitions, Entrants via the paid online route and the free entry route will find out online on the relevant Instant Win Competition webpage whether or not they have won. The Organizer will personally contact the Winners as soon as possible after their winning entry, and in any event no later than 48 hours from the date their entry was received, using the telephone number or email address provided with their Contest entry. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is unavailable or has not claimed the Prize within 14 days of the Organizer's first attempt to contact the Winner, the Organizer reserves the right to assign a new Prize number to the Prize and add the Prize back to the prize pool for that Competition or dispose of the Prize as it sees fit, without any liability to the Winner for doing so.
The Promoter must either publish or make available information indicating that a valid Prize has been awarded. In fulfillment of this obligation, the Promoter will publish the name and winning number of the Winners on the Website and will send the name and winning number of the Winners to all those who have entered.
If you object to the publication or making available of any or all of the Winner's name and entry, please contact the Promoter at jackbooom@jackbooom.com before the closing date. In such circumstances, the Organizer must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.
The Organizer reserves the right to forfeit a Prize if it reasonably suspects that a Winner is not eligible or has not complied with these Terms and Conditions. In such circumstances, it may dispose of the Prize as it sees fit in its sole discretion.
9. Claiming the Prize
Winners must claim the Prize in person. The Prize cannot be claimed by a third party on behalf of the Winner. Details of how the Prize will be delivered to the Winner (or made available for collection) are published on the Website.
If your personal details, including contact information, change at any time, you must notify the Organizer as soon as possible. Notifications should be sent to the Organizer by e-mail to jackbooom@jackbooom.com. Notifications should include details of the Competition you have entered, your old details and your new details. If your details change within 10 days of the Closing Date, the Organizer will use your old details if it needs to attempt to contact you.
Any Cash Prize will be transferred directly to the Winner's designated bank account. The Winner must provide proof that they are the sole or joint beneficiary of the bank account. Failure to do so within 14 days will result in disqualification from the Competition and forfeiture of the Prize by the Winner. In such circumstances, the Organizer reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries received prior to the Closing Date or, in the case of an Instant Win Prize Contest, to dispose of the Prize as it sees fit, without any liability to the Winner for doing so.
The Organizer assumes no liability and is not obligated to pay any compensation if a Winner is unable or unwilling to collect their Prize.
The Organizer reserves the right not to award any Prize if the Prize is not claimed by the Winner in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors shall in no circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or assume any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death arising as a result of the Prize being collected, unless caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
The Promoter will not be liable for:
any registrations not received due to incorrect or inaccurate entry information, faulty or failed data transmissions or any other reason;
Unauthorized access, theft, destruction or alteration of records at any time;
technical malfunctions, errors, failures, malfunctions, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or communications line failures, howsoever caused, with respect to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers used in any aspect of the conduct of a Competition;
the inaccessibility or unavailability of network services, any wireless service, the internet and/or a website (including, but not limited to, any online random selection method for entry into the prize draw); and
use of the Prize by the Winner.
11. Data protection and publicity
By entering a Competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you when entering the Competition may be retained and used solely by the Organizer or its agents and suppliers to administer the Competition or as set out in the Organizer's Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available on the Website.
If you are the Winner of a Contest, you agree that the Organizer may use your name, likeness and city or county of residence to announce the winner of the Contest. You also agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Organizer.
If a Winner does not wish to participate in any publicity activities, the Winner must notify the Organizer prior to the Closing Date. This will not affect your chances of winning the Prize. If you do not agree to participate in any publicity about the Competition, we may still provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority. This is a legal requirement that we must comply with in order to prove that the Competition has been properly administered and that the Prize has been awarded.
If you are a Contest Winner, you may be required to provide additional personal information and proof of your identity to confirm your eligibility to claim the Prize and to transfer ownership of the Prize to you. You consent to the use of your information in this way. You have the right to request further details about how your personal information is used. You may also withdraw your consent for your personal information to be used in this way, but doing so may prevent the transfer of the Prize to you. In such circumstances, you will be deemed to have withdrawn from the Competition and forfeit the Prize. You will not be entitled to any refund of the entry fee. The Organizer reserves the right to offer the Prize in a Standard Contest to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries received before the Closing Date. The Organizer reserves the right to dispose of the Prize in an Instant Win Contest as it sees fit, without any liability to the Winner for doing so.
Please note that in accordance with data protection laws, you have the right to request that the Organizer does not contact you and to remove your data from its database. If you make such a request, you will withdraw from the Competition as it will not be possible to contact you if you are a winner. You will not be entitled to any refund of the entry fee if you withdraw from the Competition. If you do not want your personal data to be used by the Organizer for promotional purposes, please email the Organizer at jackbooom@jackbooom.com before the Closing Date.
12. General
The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version of these Terms and Conditions will be available on the Website.
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter may, in its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in a Competition and any future Competitions.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, terminate or modify the Competition if this becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond its control. In such circumstances, the Organizer will refund any entry fees you have paid.
There is no minimum number of entries, and the Organizer will not suspend, cancel, extend the Closing Date or modify the Contest due to lack of entries. The draw will be held and the Prize will be awarded regardless of the number of entries received.
The Contests on the Website are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated in any way with Facebook. By entering the Contests, Entrants agree that Facebook has no responsibility and is not responsible for the administration or promotion of the Contests.
These General Terms shall be governed by English law. Entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
You should print a copy of these Terms and Conditions and keep it for your records.
